ANALYST WEEK 3

Hi! I'm Jose Pedro, the analyst of this week, and I'm going to present this weeks report:

This week the task was to choose an activity to do with children from a book provided by the teacher. Subsequently, carry out this activity and create a "Pecha kucha" style presentation, that is, 20 slides of 20 seconds each, explaining the performance of said activity, its applications, advantages, added values, relationships with the Blooms taxonomy. Finally, the stars of the group, in this case Belen and Eva, would present this activity on Wednesday the 16th.

This week the group has organized well , during the first days of the activity we established what each one would do on the days that were available for the activity, and we also decided the activity that we would carry out (Ready, steady, cook ).

In principle we all saw it well, however there was a bit of disorder when making the presentation since the division of labor is not always the best way to go. That is one thing to improve about the group, we always use the same way of act (understand the task and divide the work), but we have improved considerably in teamwork since previous jobs, since there is much more communication.

In the group's opinion, the best part of the activity has been carrying out the proposed task for the children, since it was the most fun and carefree, however, at the learning level, it was the development of the pecha kucha, and especially in the part of relating the activity with the blooms taxonomy, since it has forced us to investigate it.

The worst part we believe has been the presentation itself, since we had never worked with that format, and the fact that the slides advance every twenty seconds is a pressure for the stars, who have to adjust their speech to those limits.

As for the relationship that can be observed with other courses, all the members of the group have been reminded of "Educational Planning", a course we took last semester, due to the appearance of Blooms taxonomy, since it was a very indicated on the syllabus of that subject.

Finally, in relation to the possible connections with the context, this is related to the technological context since it makes use of a relatively new and fashionable technology (the Padlet application and the Pecha kucha style), which is applicable in the context of the present. since that will be obsolete in a matter of years.

That would be everything in this Analyst's report of this task.

Hope you liked it!
