I am Ovie Bright, the journalist of this week. Another week of learning has just gone by, we learned a lot.
First of all, our teacher propose an activities concerning key competencies, that we should choose, at least four activities in the key competences book she offered us.
Secondly, we proceded reading the book and took four out of the eight activities in the book, which are:
1, Mathmatical competencies.
2, Digital competencies.
3, Cultural awareness and comprehension competencies.
4, Social and civic competences.
We finally choose a topic. "The minor sea".
Thirdly, we proceded thinking of how this activities can be beneficial to the student, so we concluded using like, Wolfram widgets, Moovly.
Fourtly, we accepted that this activities will be proper for the 5th/6th primary grade.
Our objective for this activities was that the students should learn how to apply, analyse and create in the Bloom Taxonomy. They will make this application by solving the problem in the minor sea, analyse the situation of the sea and finally create ways for such problems never to occur in the nearest future according to their abilities.
The added value, was when the students added the use of technology to their previous knowledge, they got acquainted with technological activities.
The ethical problems will be, when they are left alone they can misuse the computer for their self pleasures because they are distracted. therefore, they need a supervision both in school. to avoid the misusing of the computer, e.g playing of games.
Changes that should be made, is that they should be supervised at home just like in the school classroom, when the computer is given to them at home´to avoid distractions.
Fifthly, the stars of our group came to the class with the activities prepared to teach other group as if they are in grade 5 and 6 primary level. And it was a practical experience to them, they reported when we asked them how they went.
