Translator week 4

Hello everyone, I'm Eva Lopez Romero, the translator for this week task. I had to look for 5 terms or words that best definde the work and topic studied this week. These are the chosen words:

- Competences : they are abilities and knowledge that a person must effectively achieve in a certain area. In terms of education, Spain has a national list of competences that all schools must achieve, as well as the regional ones.

- Bloom Taxonomy : this is a framework elaborated by Bloom and his collaborators. In this taxonomy, they are represented the different educational goals. There are 6 levels: knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation. This division is applied by teachers into their planning.

- Task: a task is a piece of work that needs to be done. In the educational system, it is usually the students who have o undertake the task and the teachers who designs and creates the task.

- Curriculum: the curriculum is the guide that educator use to know what is essential to teach and learn, so it achieves the competencies stablished. It includes the contents that must be taught for the specific subjects or programes in a schools, the learning objectives expected to meet, the assignment, the material, the methods that are going to be used, etc.

- Networked Learning: it is a for of online learning that uses technology to connect individuals or groups and allows the transfer of information between educators and students. It is a method of collaborative internet-based eduction where you can connect with resources, teachers and other students.

Our task this week was focused on connecting 4 activities int 1 complex activity. The main weakness we can find in this activity is that by mixing those 4 activities, you may be loosing the specific purpose of each one of them, and changing it so drastically so it fits that it looses its previous objectives and even contents.

Another weakness of this activity is that it was far too complex for us. Even thought we made it work, at the beginning we didn’t know how we were going to fit 4 activities so that they could be made by primary students in an hour or so. We barely made it with university students, and taking into account that they already have practice with digital learning and working, primary students would take too long to finish the activities.
