ANALYST WEEK 9

Hi! I'm Josepe and I'm going to do this week's analyst report. This week we have worked on the skills that a teacher must-have for a digital world. Personally, our group had never stopped to reflect on these issues, so the activity and the readings from it came in handy.

The development of infographics has helped us to understand topics (or at least to be aware of their existence) such as the application of the TPACK in the action of the teacher and its relations with the context, as well as the need of the teacher as a researcher and his possible use of research design.

As for the group, this week we have been more independent concerning each other. In other words, even though there has been organization and collaboration, we all trust that each one will do their part well. Finally, on Tuesday we got together and reviewed the work which we did as a group and prepared the presentation cooperatively.

As for the best and worst part of the activity, we believe that the best has undoubtedly been learning the principles for making an infographic since it is information that is not going to remain as a simple theory, but rather is possibly what we use most of this activity in the practical aspect. As for the worst, we believe that it has been the understanding of the text, that, despite explaining everything clearly, we were unable to understand at first due perhaps to the language and complexity.

After discussing it for a while, we believe that the best moment of the week was without a doubt the end of the presentations. We were all nervous because we didn't know the feedback that the teacher had given our stars about the infographic; and when we found out that this had been mostly positive it made us all very happy.

In contrast, the worst moment (which was not bad but anecdotal), was when we discovered that a member of the group (Me, if I'm honest), after reading the text and bringing notes about it with ideas to make the infographic, had read a text that was not the one that corresponded to this task.

Also, in our last talk after making the presentations, we talked a little about how the infographic is made up of many contents that we had previously seen in this subject (ACAD and TPACK frameworks, the personal learning environment), and we consider that it has been a very good way to refresh those concepts.

Lastly, I want to finish with what I think our group needs to change and maintain. The main thing that I think we should preserve is our work style since I always believe that we do what we have to do in an efficient and organized manner. However, I think that one thing that we have been changing and that we still need to change a bit, is the start of the tasks since the first day is always the least efficient for us.
